In my Beyond the Grave class, we went on our first adventure discovering the many historical grave sites within downtown Charleston. We walked nearly an hour in the humidity with our book bags and water bottles from sunset to sundown. We visited at least 14 churches this day and looked at many of the graveyards even though some gates were locked.
After visiting these sites, we had to make a group of 3 and pick a church that we would like to do research for this semester. My two teammates are Jaxon and Bryce. This was a really good class session this day, even though it was very hot and a bit of a long walk. Below are pictures of some churches and graveyards.
